Latest Anderson's, Ralph Lauren, Libertine Libertine and La Panoplie
May 16, 2011 Handcrafted in Parma, Italy, our new selection of Anderson's belts represent a welcome departure from the habitual realms of black and tan, providing a needed boost of colour just in time for summer. The belts are constructed from premium European leather, woven tightly to produce a dynamic texture that will surely spark interest in one of your wardrobe's most neglected necessities. At present we've 10 colourways on offer, but our leather rainbow 6 isn't set to last long so act fast. Ralph Lauren has also dropped a whole host of summer-ready attire, covering everything you'd need to kick start a crisp Ivy League line up for the warmer months; shorts, tees, chinos, button-downs and of course... the quintessential polo shirt. In addition to their well-received outerwear French Number Six newcomer La Panoplie have some rather smart tees that recently made their way into the store. We've a navy & white trio of cotton crew necks, showcasing yet another side of this developing labels' talents. A firm favourite thus far has been their LA Ethnic tee; furnished with a bold typographic logo made from a delicate string of patterns - this gem mixes a great street vibe with subtle French undertones, certainly more reason to keep an eye out this young outfit. Next up, we welcome a great patterned offering from Libertine Libertine, the Sparrow shirt. The shirt features a beautiful over dyed bird and flower print in black on a deep navy cotton base. Admittedly prints can sometimes be overpowering, however the subtly of this piece gives it year-round appeal that will see it swiftly nest amongst a wide range of other attire. To cap off this week's transmission we thought it best to reintroduce you to one of our favourite young labels, Vanishing Elephant, and remind you of our luck at securing a UK Exclusive stock of their superb shoes for Spring/Summer. We've offered home to a small, but beautifully styled suede family of footwear from our Australian friends, perfect for the fresh weather we've been lucky enough to enjoy as of late. The range is classic, minimal and each style has scope to accompany a great range of outfits this summer. Next week we'll be bringing you the latest from Mark McNairy & Bass Weejun, a touch more Ralph Lauren, the new edition of Inventory, Sandqvist bags and more. Until next time, au revoir from all of us here at www.numbersixlondon.com
