The old Homestead Steakhouse

When in Rome, do as the Romans do..........or alternatively, when in New York make sure you eat big, juicy cuts of beef. We headed to the oldest (and finest) steak house in Manhattan that goes by the name of The Old Homestead Steak House. No fashion types or trendies watching what they eat in this gaff, just New Yorkers eating some of the biggest steaks that we have ever seen in our lives. I opted for the Porterhouse, medium rare, whilst Leila got involved in a hamburger that looked like it took a whole half cow through the mincer to make UP. Luckily for me, she couldn't finish it so I got to polish it off for her. Oh happy day!!!
